YOGA IN THE PARK 
No yoga experience necessary!
 Gentle Yoga: This class incorporates simple standing, seated and floor poses focusing on strength, balance and flexibility. Classes will offer a variety of breathing exercises to calm and relax our bodies and clear our minds. Each class ends with a final relaxation which allows participants to begin to physically and mentally integrate the benefits of the class.

This class is adaptable for a wide variety of ages, fitness levels, backgrounds, age groups and health conditions. Modifications/options are provided throughout the entire class.

 
 WHAT TO BRING TO EACH CLASS:
yoga mat, folding chair for added support, bug spray, extra blanket

When: Mondays, Sept. 11th – October 9th


Time: 5pm – 6pm


Where: Fairmount Park


Cost: $25 for all 5 weeks
(or $6 Drop In)

Instructor Bio
Andrea started her exercise/health journey in the fall of 2013 teaching a variety of Zumba class formats in the greater Bangor area. Over the last 10 years she took many group fitness workshops and certifications including Aquatics, Seniors, Kids and Personal Training. She became interested in the healing process of Yoga and finished her 500 hours over the last 2 years. She is a registered 500 hour Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance. She has recently finished her Reiki 2 and is looking into expanding in that field. Andrea has a passion in helping others to get active and stay active. Her classes are fun, welcoming and focused on functional movements that participants can use in their daily life . It’s all about creating a healthy lifestyle!
