MAMM

Want to rock out on the big stage? Bangor-area youth musicians are matched
into bands based on musical interests, instrumentation, age, and scheduling availability.
Led by instructors from the Maine Academy of Modern Music (MAMM).

Bands explore a variety of music with an emphasis on rock, alternative,
hard rock,and folk, giving musicians the chance to develop their skills while
learning how to play and perform as part of a group.

Program Info

Ages: 10–18 years
Dates: Saturdays, September–May
Begins: Saturday, September 12
Rehearsal Times:
10:00–11:15 AM
1:00–2:15 PM
Location: PAL Center, Watchmaker Street, Bangor
Fee: $100 per month
Scholarships are available.

Throughout the year, bands will have opportunities to perform live at public events,
including local community events such as Bangor's Halloween Touch-A-Truck.
The season concludes with a special performance event in Portland in June!
