Bike Basket — NEW FALL 2026
5-hour class
Create a handcrafted bike basket featuring a classic design made from premium reed and finished with durable leather straps for a secure and stylish attachment to your bike.
The basket measures approximately 5" × 10" at the base and 8" high. Leather straps attach the basket to your bike, and a cotton strap can be added so you can also use it as a shoulder tote. Leather shoulder straps will be available for purchase.
The instructor will guide you step-by-step through the entire process, ensuring that everyone leaves with a finished basket.
Beginner-friendly — no prior weaving experience required!

Farmer’s Market Basket
8-hour class
Take this beautiful basket to the farmers market to gather fresh produce, bakery items, and all your favorite market finds.
The basket features two straps that can be worn over the shoulder or carried by hand, with multiple strap color options available. The basket is woven with quality flat and half-round reed. Add your own personal touch with colored reed options in blue, purple, red, green, or brown.
Everyone is welcome! If you've never woven before, don't worry—the instructor will provide step-by-step directions so you can confidently create your basket and walk away with a finished piece.

Gathering Basket
5-hour class
Whether you're hiking through the forest or exploring your own garden, this charming basket is perfect for gathering mushrooms, flowers, herbs, and other foraged treasures.
The basket measures approximately 10" × 10" at the base, with an 8" weaving height and a wooden swing handle that reaches approximately 14" high. This basket features a unique pattern using ¼", ½", and 1" premium reed weavers, with diagonal colored weavers added through the center using the French Randing technique.

Introduction to Wild Basketry
4-hour class
Wild basketry is an ancient craft of weaving natural materials—such as grasses, leaves, wood, vines, and tree bark—into functional and decorative baskets.
In this interactive, hands-on workshop, we will explore how to collect, process, and weave locally sourced natural materials.
Materials may include:
- Cattail
- Pine needles
- Birch bark
- Ash
- Pine bark
- Willow
- Grasses
- Red osier dogwood
- Grapevine
The class includes a presentation, basket demonstrations, and opportunities to work directly with natural materials. Students will also receive a PDF with information about materials and patterns.
