Teen X- Treme
This camp will offer a safe and exciting place for students in grades 6-8 to enjoy some summer fun while also exploring a wide variety of activities throughout the state of Maine!

DATES: June 26th - August 16th 
Camp will operate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of each week*
*4th of July week dates will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday

Each week the kids will spend two days doing local activities in Bangor and/or surrounding areas!
One day a week (usually Tuesday) campers will spend on a larger trip!

Local Trips include: Swimming at Pancoe Pool, trips to local state parks and beaches, mini golf, disc golf, hiking, yard games and MUCH more!

Larger Trips Include:
Week 1: VOLTA Indoor Rock Climbing (Trenton)
Week 2: Maine Wildlife Park (Gray)
Week 3: Hirundo Wildlife Refuge Guided Canoe Tour (Old Town)
Week 4: Aquaboggin (Saco)
Week 5: Monkey C Monkey Do Ropes Course (Wiscasset)
Week 6: Acadia National Park/Pirates Cove Mini Golf (Trenton/MDI)
Week 7: Maine Botanical Gardens (Boothbay)
Week 8: Funtown Splashtown (Saco)

Camp will be based out of the Bangor Parks and Recreation with access to the PAL Center (Essex St.) The PAL Center allows a teen center feel along with outdoor space for hiking, mountain biking, basketball and more. Campers will be asked to help in planning some of the activities and trips.

COST Per week:  Resident - $155.00   /  Non Resident - $165.00
AUTO PAY ONLY: Your credit card will be billed every Sunday starting the first week your child attends camp until your balance is paid off.
*Cost of camps covers all trips. Campers must bring their own money for food and souvenirs. 
**$50 Cancellation Fee per week.

  • Swimming every week (possibly every day)

Cancellation Policy
  • All cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the start date of the week being cancelled. And MUST be done online with the cancellation link. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
  • If registered for AutoPay, there will be a $50 cancellation fee for each week cancelled INSIDE of the 2 week window.
  • Refunds will only be given to families that adhere to our cancellation policy and have an account without any past due balances. All refunds will be minus the non-refundable deposit.
