Fall Youth Field Hockey 2026
Join Bangor Varsity Field Hockey Coach Leah McBreairty for four
weeks of skill development, teamwork, and game play. Whether you’re
new to field hockey or looking to continue building your skills, this program
is a great opportunity to learn from a high school coach and enjoy the sport
in a fun, supportive environment.
Program Details:
- 4-week field hockey program
- Includes 4 practices and 4 game days
- Open to students in grades K–5
- Grades 3-5: $20 residents/ $25 non-residents
- Grades K-2: FREE (practice only, no games)
- Games on Saturdays; 4:00–6:00 PM; September 12 – October 10
- Practices days & times: TBD
- Location: Games at Hampden Academy & Practices at Bangor High School grass fields
Game Format:
- 7v7 field hockey
- Teams of 8-13 players
- Four fields running at the same time
- 15 minute games with a 5-minute break between games
- Teams will rotate clockwise through fields throughout the session
- Game times: 4:00 PM, 4:20 PM, 4:40 PM, 5:00 PM, 5:20 PM, 5:40 PM
- Reversible jerseys will be provided by the coach!
