Women's Draft Softball League - 18+ - Women's Softball League - 2026
Ladies! Step onto the field and be part of our Adult Women’s Softball Draft League!
This 18+ league brings together players of all experience
levels for six weeks of fun, balanced play, and great community.
Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just getting back into the game,
the focus is on camaraderie, sportsmanship, and friendly competition.
This is a draft-style league, meaning all players register individually and are placed onto teams during a pre-season draft conducted by league organizers. This format helps create evenly matched rosters and encourages players to meet new people and build lasting connections.EVALUATION DATE: Sunday, August 16th @ 4pm (Union Street Complex) Season Details:
Regular Season is Aug. 23rd – Sept. 27th (Minus Labor Day weekend. Six weeks of games total)
Five weeks of double headers played on Sundays + Double elimination playoffs Oct. 4th
Weekly games at the Union Street Complex
August 16th: Evaluation (NEW PLAYERS ONLY)
August 17th: Final day to register & Draft (Coaches ONLY) @ Bangor Parks & Recreation
August 23rd: First Day of Games
Team Captain/ Coaches:
Must register below, separately from player registration
Responsible for drafting team
Responsible for communication with team for scheduling, etc
Teams will need to coordinate shirts on own. Not provided by Bangor Parks & Recreation.
League Format:
Slow pitch
10–12 players per team
Draft-style team assignment
Draft:
Unlike traditional leagues, this is a Draft-Style format
Players register individually (not as teams)
Team captains draft rosters
Great way to meet new people, make friends, and enjoy a social and team-oriented atmosphere
