Who Can Join? Students entering grades 6-8 for the 2026-27 school year
Dates: June 22 – August 12
Days: Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Location: Bangor Parks & Recreation (Hub)
Transportation: Mini vans are used to transport campers to activities that take place outside Bangor Parks & Rec Building
Cost
$180/week – Resident
$195/week – Non-Resident

Campers will learn basic baton skills, movement, coordination, and simple routines while enjoying themed games, activities, and crafts. Each day will feature a different Disney inspired theme. No experience is necessary and equipment can be made available for use during camp! Adventure. Activity. Exploration.Teen X-Treme is designed for kids entering grades 6-8 who are ready for an active, on-the-go summer. Each week includes local Bangor outings -like Pancoe Pool, beaches, and mini golf - plus a major field trip. All field trip fees are included in the weekly price (optional spending money not included).
What Makes Teen X-Treme Different
One “big” field trip every week
Local Bangor activities (pool, beaches, mini golf, and more)
Hiking, swimming, and outdoor exploration
Active games and planned group activities
More time traveling and adventuring, less time indoors
Camper input on activity planning
Camp Environment
Small group: Maximum of 22 campers
Participation: All campers are expected to join every activity
Phones: Not allowed during camp activities
Exception: Larger trips where small-group communication is needed for safety
