Counselor In Training Program 2025 - CIT Training We, at Bangor Parks and Recreation, are excited to introduce our new Counselor in Training (CIT) program. With our CIT program we are looking for individuals between the ages of 13-16, who enjoy working with children, are willing to take initiative and be part of our Bangor Blast team. The program will begin one week prior to summer camp and go on throughout the 8 weeks of Bangor Blast Summer Camp, each CIT choosing a minimum of 2 weeks to attend. The CIT’s will learn about being a camp counselor, our mission and be an active part of building a successful camp for children grades Pre K to 6th grade. Requirements:
Ages 13-16
Must fill out and return CIT application
CIT interview
Must attend trainings and a minimal of 2 weeks of Summer Camp

Counselor In Training Program 2025 - CIT Training We, at Bangor Parks and Recreation, are excited to introduce our new Counselor in Training (CIT) program. With our CIT program we are looking for individuals between the ages of 13-16, who enjoy working with children, are willing to take initiative and be part of our Bangor Blast team. These candidates must be able to work in a fun and ever changing environment, be a positive role model to children, as well as being enthusiastic and creative. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience, while enhancing their resumes, accumulating volunteer/service learning hours and having a great time! What is a CIT program? Our CIT program will work as a bridge between camper and becoming a counselor. In this program the CIT’s will learn to be leaders, role models and understand that working and playing hard can create an amazing summer camp experience for all.

Must fill out and return CIT application
CIT interview
