Engage your creative and adventurous spirit! Join Woodthrush Wilderness this Spring and make your very own Fiddlehead Basket or Fishing Creel! This class is a wonderful way to prepare for foraging season or create a handmade gift for someone special! Program Schedule:Class held on Sunday, February 22nd starting at 9:00am Located in the Kenduskeag Room at Bangor Parks and RecreationChoose Your Craft:(Both classes will operate together)Fiddlehead Basket (5-hour class)If you are hiking in the forest or wandering in your garden, this will be a nice basket for fiddleheads, mushrooms, or herbs. Size is approximately 4” Width x 8" Height x 10" Length. Fishing Creel (8-hour class)You don’t have to put fish in this beautiful basket, perfect for picnics, vegetable gathering, or collecting all sorts of fun things while foraging in the woods!
