Guided Canoe Trips for Teens
With Registered Maine Guide: Jim Fahey!

Multiple courses offered in July!
For kids in grades 7th - 12th
(Adult family members may register to accompany child)
Dates: July 11, July 16 or July 25th
Times: Start at 8:00AM - End at 2:00PM
Location: Hermon Pond - Jackson Beach
Boat Launch - 53 Jackson Beach Park, Hermon
All canoes, paddle & PFD's provided by the instructor!
For safety purposes, we require that all
participants have the ability to swim. In addition, wearing a
personal floatation device is mandatory.

Things you should bring:
Lunch, Snacks, Bottled Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray & Towel
Things you should know:
Transportation to Hermon Pond not provided
Learn water craft safety skills and proper paddling techniques
Participate in a guided paddle trip
Observe wildlife in its natural habitat
About the Instructor
Jim is a registered Maine Guide and retired in 2019 as a State of Maine Game Warden. Jim currently works as the outside security officer at Bangor High School. He has been a licensed guide since 1999 and has guided countless people on hunting, fishing and paddling trips during that time. Additionally, Jim has guided boy scouts on extended Allagash River canoe trips and coached little league baseball.
